Before GRIT MEDIA existed, DP Evan Finlay developed a show pitch for Dr. Snow Removal. Though it never made it to television, the project ignited Evan’s interest in blue-collar work—the daily grind, the resilience, and the pride these workers bring to providing a reliable service. That early concept laid the groundwork for GRIT’s mission: to tell authentic stories of people who labor hard, meet tough conditions, and keep communities moving.
